Full Day Snowshoe Trek in Winter Wonderland

When in Norway you must get outside and experience the beautiful nature that surrounds Oslo. What better way to do so then a full day snowshoe adventure into the heart of the Nordmarka forest?  This is the perfect trip for those who have used snowshoes before and enjoy long treks off the beaten path.

We will use private transportation to travel from the city center to the start of our tour. We will then slowly travel uphill through the stunning Mellomkollen Nature Reserve, where you’ll trek approximately 4 kilometers to the summit of Gaupekollen (Lynx Hill). As you ascend, immerse yourself in the pristine winter landscape, with panoramic views of the sparkling lake and Oslo city below.

Weather permitting, we’ll take a break to light a cozy campfire, where you can savor grilled sausages and warm up with delicious hot chocolate. After the fire we will descend back to the trailhead and head back to civilization. This adventure combines the thrill of snowshoeing with the tranquility of nature, making it a perfect winter escape!
