Our recommendations for the hike
We recommend that participants bring a bottle of water. On longer trips we recommend you to bring something to eat - for example, chocolate, nuts or sandwiches.
Wear comfortable clothing and hiking shoes (or similar).
We recommend to use sunblock and protection against mosquitos.
Remember that the trails might be wet because of rain - be careful.

What to wear on a hiking tour in Oslo
- Comfortable shoes. Usually sport shoes such as sneakers are enough. It is getting cold in September, so please keep in mind that it would be better to have special trekking shoes.
- Comfy clothes with an extra layer. You can get warmed up during our guided hiking tour, or it can get more chilly in the shadows of the forest. Anyway, it is always better to have an extra layer of clothing to take on/ off.
- It is better to wear trekking trousers on the tours longer than 4 hours.
- Take a backpack with water or chocolate / sandwich. You are going to enjoy it on one of the breaks with a picturesque view over the city. Nothing feels better than a well-deserved snack!
